It was cold and cloudy on Sunday, December 6, at the final show of the Coastside Dressage Schooling Show Series held at Park Pacifica Stables, but that didn’t deter 27 riders from filling 52 rides for judge Ivetta Harte, SFP Chapter member and L-judge program graduate.
There was something for everyone, from Intro tests to musical freestyles, with ponies, mules, warmbloods, thoroughbreds, and crossbreds. One of the mules made coastside history by receiving the high score of the show, a 72% at Intro B.
After a day of tests from Intro A to Second Level Test 1, three Second Level musical freestyles were ridden as the Christmas lights came on at the tree lot beyond “A” … a fun and fabulous finale for the Coastside Series.
